Honouring our past members...Cound Tennis Club has a rich history of long standing members, many of whom have dedicated significant effort and time into making the club successful since its founding.  We are proud to honour past members by running memorial tournaments to pay homage to their contributions.

We had a record 20 entries for the American Tournament held at Cound on Sunday June 19th 2016 in memory of our dear lady player Mary Camber.  Family and friends of Mary came to the club to share some fun mixed doubles play and for a lovely BBQ spread donated by our members and friends.  Thank you to everyone who made the day special, and it was especially lovely to see Mary's daughter Sophie Camber who also has grown up playing at the club. We will all miss Mary who made a great contribution to ladies tennis at Cound, having played many league matches as well as many hours of social tennis. Congratulations to Julie Pinnell who won the tournament and to Kevin Fletcher for Runner Up. It was a very close competition.
